ALARMS & IMMOBILISER'S

On offer are a range of alarms to suit everybody's needs from a remote control alarm utilizing the vehicle's existing keys to an insurance approved (Thatcham category 1) alarm with high security engine immobiliser, linked to central locking.

We also offer the Clifford range of remote control alarms with features that other manufacturers do not offer, such as remote engine start, text control of the alarm and text alerts to your mobile phone when the alarm is triggered, remote headlight activation, remote boot release and control of your electric windows from the remote control. Also available are dual zone sensors that give a warning when someone approaches the vehicle before a break-in is attempted and a digital tilt sensor that senses the vehicle being jacked up or lifted. 

Many cars are now stolen by first stealing the car keys (which has the alarm remote control attached). Clifford's "BLAXJAX" anti-hijacking feature prevents this happening. Without entering a secret valet code, the car can not be driven away even when the thief has the alarm remote control. This feature is built into some Clifford alarms and can be added to any car even with a factory fitted alarm.

All our alarms can be linked to electric windows and sun roofs so they close automatically when the alarm is armed.

Another worthwhile consideration is an additional internal siren to deafen the potential thief and help protect valuable equipment inside the car.

ENGINE IMMOBILISERS

Improve the security of your vehicle with an insurance approved (Thatcham category 2) engine immobiliser:

  • TRANSPONDER - a small fob is attached to your key ring. When the ignition key is inserted into the ignition an aerial behind the dash reads the fob and disarms the immobiliser.

All insurance approved immobiliser's will automatically arm themselves 30 seconds after the car ignition is turned off.

Systems are installed and tested in our workshop by our fully trained technicians.
