Adding to your factory fitted equipment

iPod

Using an interface we can connect your iPod with the factory fit stereo. The interface will allow you to change track while driving, as well as charging the iPod's battery. We can supply and fit the kit with either a dock cable which allows the iPod to be stored away out of sight or for ease of use with an active cradle and a "no holes bracket". Where it is not possible to connect an interface directly to the factory fit stereo, an iPod Link can be connected. As well as great sound quality the modulator automatically switches on when the iPod is attached.

We are now able to offer an FM modulator package that allows text display from your iPod and or Flash/Jump drive (through a USB socket), full control via remote and astounding sound quality.

CD and MP3 changers can be linked directly to the in dash radio supplied with many new cars (usually at a greatly reduced cost over the franchised dealers price).

A big improvement to the sound can be made by adding a subwoofer enclosure which will enhance the bass and give an improved all round sound in the car. We have a selection available in various sizes from very small tune up woofers that fit under the seat.

Replacing your factory fitted equipment

Both Alpine and Pioneer have interfaces that allow complete control of the iPod from a number of their stereo's.

The main advantages are:

• "Full Speed" control of the iPod from the stereo.

• Text information from the iPod is displayed on the stereo.

• The iPod battery is charged when connected.

• The iPod is turned on and off with the stereo.

• For security the iPod can be kept out of sight in the glove box.

• Upgrade of the audio system in the car.

Most standard fit head units can be replaced, even those units that are a unusual shape and integrated into the dash (using vehicle specific fascia adaptors).

In stock are an extensive range of speakers that will fit into the original position and greatly improve the sound - a worthwhile improvement when the head unit is changed.

Well worth considering is an additional amplifier to power the speakers. These will improve the sound quality and increase the maximum volume. Especially useful in convertibles that rely on one pair of speakers that normally can not be heard on the motorway with the roof down.

In stock are an extensive range of units from the major manufacturers. It is not possible for us to carry every unit in every manufacturer's range, however, we are able to order most items for next day delivery.

We offer an installation service. Equipment is installed and tested in our workshop by our fully trained technicians.
